The Felix vs. Mendenhall debate continues
Superstar columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor apparently didn't get the memo that Coach Albert "Einstein" Breer wanted The Final Word on whether the Cowboys erred by picking Felix Jones over Rashard Mendenhall. JJT addresses the debate in this week's newsletter.
As for this draft, let me clear up any erroneous thoughts about my position on Felix Jones. I think he'll be a good player who contributes quite a bit this year.
The Cowboys could build their offense around him if Marion Barber were ever unavailable.
Jerry must have agreed with my hypothesis because the Cowboys picked Tashard Choice in the fourth round. He's a traditional runner who has a chance to be pretty good.
And I understand the Cowboys' rationale that they wanted a back with different skills than Marion "The Barbarian" Barber.
