Good news for Cowboys QB Tony Romo: He owns November with a 15-2 career record as a starter
After passing for more than 300 yards in four of the Cowboys' first five games, quarterback Tony Romo has only passed for a total of 369 yards over the team's last two games against St. Louis and Philadelphia.
But there's good news:
Over the last two games, he only has one interception and that came in Sunday's loss to the Eagles . It wasn't even Romo's fault. All the blame should fall on the shoulders of tight end Martellus Bennett, who dropped a perfect pass from Romo and then tipped the ball in the air to allow Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to make a diving interception near the sideline.
More good news:
Romo owns the month of November. As a starting quarterback for the Cowboys, Romo is an eye-popping 15-2 in November games. Of course, Romo has had his share of struggles closing seasons, going 7-10 as a starter in December games.
The Cowboys' schedule sets up well for them in November. They have to make a run now if they hold out any hope of making the playoffs this season. The December schedule for the Cowboys is much more challenging.
